Access OnBase on a Loaner Laptop

If you're using a Carleton-owned Loaner laptop, and are signing in with the local ".\loaner" account, you can still access OnBase.  Just follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the VPN is connected
  2. Press Shift (on your keyboard) and hold it while you right-click (with the mouse) on the OnBase Unity Client

  3. You should see a menu appear with the following options.  Choose "Run as different user"

  4. Enter your Carleton username and password (you do not need the full email address)


  5. The OnBase sign in page will show up.  Complete the fields as follows

    1. Globe Field: ADS
    2. Person Field: your Carleton username
    3. Lock Field: your Carleton password
      IMPORTANT: Make sure the first field says ADS, and that you change the username to your username.
