This article will provide adequate information to create a scan format as related to OnBase at Carleton.

Prerequisites

In this order:

1. Proper scanner drivers installed before connecting and turning on the scanner
   1. Fujitsu fi-6130 & fi-6130z model scanners use the Kofax drivers
   2. Fujitsu fi-7160 model scanners require Paperstream drivers
2. The scanner must be turned on and connected to the computer

You can now manage existing Scan Formats, as well as add New new Scan Formats in a window resembling the following

Click "New" to add a new Scan Format

• Single Doc - Multiple Page
• Single Doc - Single Page
• Duplex - Multiple Pages
• Duplex
• Color Doc - Single Page
• Color Doc - Multiple Pages
• Color Doc - Duplicate Multiple Pages
• 11 x 17 - Single Page
• 11 x 17 - Multiple Page
