Custom Queries are a feature of OnBase that allow us to search for documents across the various document type groups provided there is a common keyword. This will allow us to better share documents from various departmentdepartments, without the need for us to scan documents multiple times so they appear in more than one document type. As a reminder, the documents that will be displayed are still dependent on your user privileges, you will not be able to see documents that you do not have a right to see. You can organize the ones you use the most by dragging the name of the Custom Query from the All Custom Queries section to the My Custom Queries section. Each of these sections is machine specific.
This page will step you through how to open Custom Queries , how to add the Custom Query icon to your toolbar, and how to make Custom Queries be your default log on screen. in both the OnBase "Thick" and Unity Clients.
