The matching documents appear in a window similar to the one below. To find the correctly matching document to append to, you can click on any of them and a preview window appears on the right. Remember that this is a preview of the document your appending to. Not the document you're currently uploading. Once you have identified the document you want to append to, click the "Append Pages" button.
** Note ** 
It will not always be the case that you want to append documents when the index attributes match. When this happens, you can click the button labeled "Save as New Document."
After appending, or selecting "Save as New Document" you're taken to the resulting OnBase Document with the appended pages.
