Click on the gray Apple in the upper left-hand corner of the screen and open System Preferences
- Click on the Language & Region preference pane, in the middle of the top row
Under the Preferred languages panel on the left, click the + button to add new languages
- To configure keyboard layout or input method options, click the Keyboard Preferences button at the bottom of this pane.
- Select your language or input method in the left-hand column and appropriate options will appear in the main window on the right.
