This page will show you how to use Custom Queries within OnBase.  This will step you through how to open Custom Queries, how to add the Custom Query icon to your toolbar, and how to make Custom Queries be your default log on screen. Custom Queries are a feature of OnBase that allow us to search for documents across the various document type groups provided there is a common keyword.  This will allow us to better share documents from various department, without the need for us to scan documents multiple times so they appear in more than one document type. 

This page will step you through how to open Custom Queries, how to add the Custom Query icon to your toolbar, and how to make Custom Queries be your default log on screen. 

As a reminder, the documents that will be displayed are still dependent on your user privileges, you will not be able to see documents that you do not have a right to see. As we start using more and more Custom Queries, you  You can organize the ones you use the most by dragging the name of the Custom Query from the All Custom Queries section to the My Custom Queries section.  Each of these sections is machine specific.

Select the File Menu, select Open, and from the options, select Custom Query.  You will be presented with the list of Custom Queries associated with your user groups.
