. Room checks are done before term starts (by staff and break student staff) and are planned for once a week during term (by student staff). If issues are found, they are addressed as quickly as possible. The process includes checks of the following:
- Instructor Stations
- Mac OS Boots
- Mac Displays to Projector
- Mac Audio via Speakers
- Windows OS Boots
- Windows Displays to Projector
- Windows Audio via Speakers
- External Disk Drive - recognized (either OS)
- Blu Ray Projects
- Blu Ray Touchscreen Controls
- Doc Camera Projects
- Doc Camera Touchscreen Controls
- Laptop HDMI displays
- Laptop MiniDisplay Port displays
- Sound via Speakers
- Ethernet Cable
- /DVD & Doc Cameras
- Device Displays to Projector
- Device Touchscreen Controls (if applicable)
- HDMI & mDP (Laptop Connections)
- HDMI laptop cable has a Liberty Ring w/Adapters (Mini-display, Lightning, USB-C)
- Source Displays to Projector
- Audio via Speakers
- Ethernet Cable connects to Carleton network (pulls a 137.22.x.x address)
- NOTE:
- Most rooms with a Liberty Ring do NOT have an mDP cable
- Some rooms still have a 1/8" audio jack that is needed for audio
